Tomb of a Thousand Doors
A downloadable Megadungeon
Gather up picks and shovels and prepare your packs as you delve deep into the forgotten stronghold of a mad mouse king - the Tomb of a Thousand Doors. A megadungeon for the rules-light fantasy adventure roleplaying game Mausritter.
It’s a deep and dark dungeon down there, and it will not be fair on a little mouse. But if you are cautious and maybe a bit daring and reckless, you may be able to retrieve innumerable riches. And if you delve long enough, you may just uncover the greatest treasure of all mousekind deep within the Tomb of a Thousand Doors!
Tomb of a Thousand Doors is a megadungeon campaign setting for Mausritter. With over 30 unique dungeons all connected into a massive labyrinth of a structure. Tomb of a Thousand Doors will bring, literally, hundreds of hours of potential game play to your table. Brought to you by the Mausritter Third-Party Community.
The Setting
To the northwest of Mayfield, just south of the Rittermarch lies a hidden structure; lost amidst the dense forest. In the depths of these woods, under the most ancient and gnarled oak lies an ornate stone archway; through which is a doorway to endless tunnels, dug by forgotten generations of dwellers. Where they all lead, no one knows; welcome to the Tomb of a Thousand Doors.
In ages past, a mad mouse king built up stores for his vast riches in a massive, subterranean and deadly tomb. Seasons came and went and the tomb was left undisturbed. Sometime in the recent past, several antagonistic factions broke into the tomb and uncovered various dangerous artifacts. Now, these diverse factions make this Tomb their home.
The Maus Kingdom is calling on brave mice adventurers to delve into the tomb and clear out the faction and retrieve any of the riches and artifacts that they can.
This megadungeon can be a standalone campaign site or can be added to any hex of an ongoing Mausritter campaign. Tomb of a Thousand Doors references other Third-Party Mausritter Products such as: Mayfield, The Rittermarch, and Bernpyle; however, while these materials are not needed to play, they add more options and depth for extended campaign play.

I bought the mausritter bundle. Is this included in it or is it an older version included?
It looks like the map for the Temple of Emmental Evil might be numbered incorrectly. Is there any collection of errata for this module?
Woah! Good catch! Edited it! Luckily it goes off to print later this week!
How were the jam writers compensated for their published entries? I’m thinking of running something similar and wanted an insight into the process.
Initially there was not a plan to compensate (when the Jam started) because the combined book was a free download on itch.io. Then as it picked up steam, we started charging for the original itch copy to itchfund a remastered version (paying artists and such) - contributors were notified and the plan still was not to compensate and as soon as we raised funds to pay the artists, it would be free again. However, folks really started liking it and we decided to kickstart this big remaster... we reached out to everyone and offered $50 (initially) OR a contributor copy of the book OR both. Most opted for the book but a few wanted to be paid. We haven't paid out yet but the plan is to get folk paid and their books once production is paid for. i think being upfront with your plan is the best bet. For us, the plan was never to pay as it was billed as a community project - however as it scaled we felt it was right and proper to pay folks for their amazing work!
Nice one. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I am a Kickstarter Backer. It would be super helpful if you could include each item "card" as a separate image file in a folder. I really appreciate what you have done with VTT support! But without the item cards as separate image files it makes this hard to use on VTT. I can tell that each separate card for each item must be its own file somewhere because you can highlight and then copy and then export as a jpg meaning that each item must be its own jpg somewhere used to make the A4 "Item Card Sheets" PDF. Any help uploading these individual image files for VTT users would be super cool and much appreciated. TIA!
hey I backed this item but I never got my files. The link you guys sent for claiming keys does not work for eme even tough I already added my email as a secondary here on itch. Could you please help me to get access to the files, I’m looking forward to play it. Thanks in advance
149mb? Is an optimized and reduced version possible?
Pardon me, but what's the difference between the previous version and that one?

The "deluxe edition" campaign produced a physical book, which isn't available here. But there is more art and the contents arranged and connected for better flow.
"Why are we funding it then? Well, this project is the result of a game jam with 43 entries, all with their own flavor and style but when put together, though the content is there, lacks a cohesive flow and design. This campaign will reformat and elevate the project to new heights! We have teamed up with a group of amazing artists to bring you some of the greatest artwork in the industry, and as a dream project, we are so excited to see it come to life!"
I have 4 pre-generated characters I downloaded from you from somewhere before.
The file was named "Tomb of a Thousand Doors [Pre-Generated Characters].pdf"
I can't seem to find it in the new downloads you just posted.
NM, I see they're on the 1st edition page:
