A downloadable Adventure Location

The Elder Evils and The Song Stones

They feel it, we feel it, soon all will feel it - the Archdruid is dead. How can we be sure, no one even knew where he resided; but we know - his presence has left this plane and the repercussions of this are drawing near. Darkness approaches.

It has long been said that the Archdruid isolated himself deep away from all civilized lands with one goal, one true call; to hold back the darkness. The confederation of clans known as Penderyn has lived in relative peace for three generations now. Their prominent town, Caer Dyfed, has begun to flourish in this new found peace. But this may all be ending soon. Built on the edges of the Dark Holt, Caer Dyfed knows of ages past when the dire spirits that call that forest home haunted and harassed the free peoples of Penderyn. It is said a great demon rules this wood from its infernal abode in the Abyss, that was until the Archdruid’s power put the fell spirit at bay. The druids are afraid but also surprised, as is the High King. The Archdruid is dead so evil should be rampant, but it's not. Life is beginning to teem even more abundantly in the Dark Holt as of late. The High King wants answers, the Order of Druids want answers. It is the waning months of harvest time and the first frost is around the corner. When the snow hits, life gets impossibly hard. The High King is moving Caer Dyfed’s populous to their winter castle, Crannog Brichen, in three weeks time; so time is important - and that is where you enter this tale.

Learn rumors and get a lay of the land whilst in town, then head out and seek the truth within the forest. Uncover forgotten ruins and delve into the dungeons. Piecing together the truth as to what is happening. Unite the Song Stones and banish the Elder Evils.
