Stalls of the Blood Queen

The mice of Willownest have lived for seasons in relative peace, making their living as fishermice along the streams. However, last season a dark shadow moved in. Rumors of a Bat Cult holding secretive gatherings. Silhouettes of winged rodents haunt the skies at night. And now farmers outside of town are claiming mice are being snatched away in the dark. The Council of Willownest has no clue what is happening but they fear the worst.

This fear is well placed, for just beyond the fields to the east are the remains of an old barn. The rafters of this dilapidated barn are now home to the vampiric court of the Blood Queen, a massive flying fox bat. Her and her swarms of vampire bats rule the roost. The Blood Queen desires to be worshiped and served by all. Those fringe mice who willingly worship in her cult are rewarded; those that do not are taken and drained of their life to extend her’s.

The Council of Willownest is desperate, they hired a Frog Errant to slay the winged demon but no word has been heard. They now desperately offer 4000 pips to any adventuring party brave enough to save those taken and bring an end to the bat apocalypse stemming from the Stalls of the Blood Queen.

Stalls of the Blood Queen is a short A5 pamphlet adventure for the Mausritter RPG featuring:

• A vampire and bats themed rescue mission into the crumbling walls of a dilapidated barn
• A wicked queen and her cultic followers
• 9 thematic new items, 2 new vampiric spells, a new condition
• 4 new creatures to encounter

• As a short, a super deadly one-shot adventure into the vampire's lair within the crumbling barn
  
• As a hinted at "final boss" encounter in a wider hexcrawl campaign
