A downloadable Game Mode
Maustrap is a pre-Mausritter campaign game mode. You and 2-5 friends will each take 4 common mice, who are in debt, on a grueling and grinding adventure; deep into the hearts of dungeons. Treasure hunting, seeking for the right amount of pips to set you free from your financial burden.
In this funnel you will test your characters to their limits and most likely, to their demise. If, and that is a huge if, your character mice survive, these lucky mouse adventurers will become the starting mice of your campaign.
So, tread lightly, heck, rather throw caution to the wind and go find some treasure and pay off your debt. The rules help keep the story you tell consistent, interesting and challenging.
GM Pro Play Suggestion: I recommend printing the rules and the character sheets front and back and laminating them, then give them out to your players along with a wet erase marker. This ensures you are not wasting paper on dying mice and it gives the rules to each player at your table. Once the funnel is over, players can transfer their surviving mouse to an official Mausritter Character Sheet.
Maustrap is an unofficial game mode for Mausritter gaming system.
Mausritter Sword-and-Whiskers Role Playing Game is created by Isaac Williams. Mausritter is copyright Losing Games.
Maustrap is an independent production by ManaRampMatt and is not affiliated with Losing Games. It is published under the Mausritter Third Party License.
This concept is inspired by Dungeon Crawl Classics.

Hey ! Nice game. Where can i find the trap table and the webbed condition please ?
this is really cool. I am now writing an alternate version of mission 1 of my upcoming campaign to use these starting rules.
nice and gritty.
I love how this is a neatly themed "funnel", but also the mechanical changes for level zero mice!
This looks like an awesome alternative to kick off a Mausritter campaign!
If you want your Mausritter game to lean more into the OSR side, this supplement is great to start some helpless mice on their deadly paths!
