A Delve into the Onyx Shrine

The Onyx Shrine, a famed, and much sought after, witch’s academy; known to mice across the mouse kingdoms. In recent seasons, no word has come from the hailed school and all who have sought to study there have vanished from existence. What is not know beyond the academy’s doors is that the school halls lay in shambles. A foul-tempered serpent, the Shadow Snake, moved in and has slain the entire student body and their headmistress. The snake picks over the last scraps of the arcane mice and has left the halls in ruin. Deep within the adjacent caves an obsidian monolith hums with arcane energy.
