A 24-page hex-crawl campaign setting for Mausritter sword-and-whiskers role-playing.

Vast and sprawling, with endless seas of swaying grass. The smooth sound of rushing waters. The tranquil landscape of the lush countryside. Countless generations of mice have called this riverside glade their home, long before distant visitors arrived in the valley. Riverbend’s peace is known far and wide.

But now, huddled within the bark of an ancient willow that has fallen and draped across the flowing waters, the mouse settlement of Swampdale does what they can to carve out a living as would-be oppressors close in from every direction.

Can you help reclaim the region and restore the tranquility before it’s lost for good, or will Riverbend Valley be forgotten as it too falls prey to the vicious cycles of the unknown?

A Guidebook to Riverbend Valley gives Game Masters everything they need to run a full Mausritter campaign in a region overflowing with whimsy, wonder, and danger.

Built using the generators and tables of Mausritter, this zine expands them into a fully fleshed-out adventure sandbox brimming with secrets, factions, and mysteries to explore.

Included inside these pages are:

  • A hexcrawl packed with settlements and locations
  • 5 ready-to-run Adventure Sites
  • 7 thematic Factions to populate the region
  • New creatures, items, and spells to encounter

How to use this

Game Masters will need this zine, a copy of Mausritter, a set of polyhedral dice, a pencil, and general understanding of the Mausritter rules. Other than that, you are good to go!

A Guidebook to Riverbend Valley is an independent production by Matthew Morris and is not affiliated with Losing Games. It is published under the Mausritter Third Party Licence.
